China Airlines has introduced a new daily flight service connecting Taichung to Okinawa, enhancing its presence in Japan and expanding its total weekly round-trip flights between Taiwan and Japan to over 170. This new route utilizes the Airbus A321neo, with Flight CI310 departing Taichung at 10:00 a.m. and arriving in Okinawa at 12:40 p.m. The return journey, Flight CI311, takes off from Okinawa at 1:40 p.m., reaching Taichung by 2:10 p.m.
To further bolster its service, the airline plans to roll out a second daily flight starting August 13. This additional service, Flight CI312, will leave Taichung at 3:20 p.m. and touch down in Okinawa at 6:00 p.m. The return leg, Flight CI313, is set to depart Okinawa at 7:00 p.m., landing in Taichung at 7:30 p.m.
With these new routes complementing the existing services from Taipei and Kaohsiung, China Airlines will be operating approximately 30 round-trip flights to Okinawa each week. This expansion not only solidifies the airline’s connectivity between Taiwan and Japan but also offers enhanced travel options for both business and leisure travelers.
The addition of these routes underscores China Airlines’ commitment to strengthening its network and providing more flexible travel schedules for passengers. By increasing the frequency of flights to Okinawa, the airline is catering to the growing demand for travel between these popular destinations.
