Renowned Japanese entertainer Takuya Kimura has unveiled plans for his “Takuya Kimura Live Tour 2026 Checkpoint,” marking a significant milestone with his inaugural solo performances overseas. The tour will bring Kimura to Taipei for two concerts on November 13 and 14 at the Taipei Music Center, aligning with his 54th birthday celebration on the first date.
The tour is set to comprise nine shows across five cities, including Hyogo, Fukuoka, and Chiba in Japan, in addition to international stops in Seoul and Taipei. Spanning from September 9 to November 23, this series of performances highlights a special moment in Kimura’s career as he ventures beyond Japan for the first time as a solo artist.
In conjunction with the tour announcement, Kimura disclosed plans to release a new album titled “Checkpoint” this summer.
