Apple’s “awe-dropping” showcase has concluded, leaving tech enthusiasts with a slate of new gadgets to consider. The undisputed star was the iPhone Air, a super-slim smartphone measuring just 5.6mm thick and priced at $999. Alongside it, Apple introduced new AirPods that can translate languages in real-time and an Apple Watch with advanced health detection.

The iPhone Air represents Apple’s renewed focus on design leadership. Made from titanium, it’s both lightweight and durable, with a 6.5-inch screen. The rest of the iPhone 17 line (Standard, Pro, and Pro Max) also received updates to their processors, batteries, and cameras, which now feature a mode for recording with the front and back lenses simultaneously.

Perhaps the most futuristic announcement was for the AirPods Pro 3. The new earbuds come with a live translation feature, allowing two people speaking different languages to communicate with ease. This major software upgrade, combined with better noise cancellation, makes the $249 earbuds a compelling product, though it follows a similar feature from Google.

Finally, the Apple Watch Series 11 continues its push into personal health. The new models can now alert users to signs of hypertension, a potentially life-saving feature. With preorders for the new iPhones starting Friday and all new products hitting shelves on September 19, Apple has laid out a powerful ecosystem upgrade for the holiday season.
