Here’s How Carrier Can Help You Breathe Easier During Wildfire Season

INDIANAPOLIS—Wildfires are making the air smoky and unhealthy for many of us. To help, Carrier is sharing some simple ways to keep your indoor air clean and safe. The smoke from these fires can contain tiny particles that are harmful to your health. To protect your home or business, Carrier suggests:

  • Running your air conditioner on fan mode with a good filter.
  • Making sure doors and windows are sealed to keep smoke out.
  • Using a portable air purifier to clean the air in a room.

“Even if the air outside is smoky, the air inside can still be affected,” said Nick Arch, Carrier’s Vice President and General Manager of Residential Solutions. “Our products are made to help you stay safe and breathe easier indoors.”

Carrier offers a variety of products to help, and the company recently gave away more than $2.5 million in air purifiers to schools and other essential locations in Los Angeles to help them out.
