The newly launched route will operate twice weekly, with flights available on Tuesdays and Saturdays. This addition underscores Loong Air’s commitment to expanding its service offerings, facilitating easier travel for passengers between these two key regions.
With the introduction of the Chengdu route, Taichung International Airport now boasts a total of 31 operating or announced routes. This includes 20 regular services and 11 charter routes, highlighting the airport’s growing role as a hub for both domestic and international travel.
Alongside Chengdu, Nanjing and Qingdao are the other scheduled cross-strait destinations currently served by Taichung Airport. This expansion reflects the airport’s strategic efforts to diversify its connectivity and enhance travel options for passengers.
